ABOUT EDGE HOBOKEN Edge Wrestling Hoboken is the first satellite of the original Edge School of Wrestling Club that was started 25 years ago by Ernie Monaco and his family. It was the first wrestling program of its kind in the United States. "The Edge" has cultivated some of New Jersey's best all-time wrestlers and the goal is to continue this tradition everyday the doors open in the new location. Youth wrestlers ages 6 to 14 years of age will be instructed by a highly experienced and accomplished coaching staff, while training with quality workout partners in a great practice environment. These characteristics embody everything that has made the Edge surpass the rest. In addition to wrestling, Edge Hoboken now also offers training in Mixed Martial Arts, Jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai. "The Edge" program has a track record and history that is in a league of its own. When it comes to tradition and results, no other wrestling school program can compare.
MISSION The Edge is committed to teaching and mentoring its students through the sport of wrestling to strive for individual excellence in all aspects of their lives, developing character, self-confidence, self-discipline, mental toughness and a strong work ethic to prepare them for life’s challenges.
FACILITY Edge Wrestling Hoboken is a multifunctional training facility. It provides the athlete the opportunity to train their skills on over 1,400 sq. ft. of new Resilite wrestling mats. All the walls are fully padded to ensure safety for those moments of intensified training. High ceilings span the entire training area and expansive windows allow natural light to permeate throughout. The basketball court area lends the facility plenty of room for future expansion, plyo-metric alternative training, and shooting some hoops. There are two multi-sex bathrooms available to change into practice gear, shower, and store valuables in lockers. The upstairs lounge provides an area to observe practice and enjoy the company of others or watch television on one of its many flat screens. Sixx Design Group, the internationally renowned New York City designers, has recently renovated the entire space giving it a practical, modern, and vintage mix.

Cross, will be doing a clinic for the Edge School of Wrestling at the
Hoboken location. The clinic is open to all ages and has limited
availablity. The details for the clinic are as follows: We were very honored to have 2008 Olympic Gold Medallist, Henry Cejudo, at the Edge Hoboken facility on February 12th for a successful clinic and book signing of his newly released book American Victory, Over eighty youth wrestlers from Edge Wrestling and Beat The Streets were ecstatic to meet the Olympic Champion. The wrestlers had the opportunity to learn some of the techniques that helped Cejudo become the youngest American to ever win an Olympic gold medal in Men’s Freestyle competition. They were also able to receive a personalized signed copy of his book, and hear the inspirational words of his story. A select few Edge youth wrestlers were also invited to partake in a private training session with Henry the following day at the Edge Hoboken Facility. The Edge staff and youth wrestlers involved would like to thank Henry for giving us an experience we'll never forget.
