Dave is the Head Wrestling Coach at the Edge School of Wrestling in
Hoboken and the Hoboken PAL Youth Wrestling Team. He has been
involved in wrestling for 25 years. He wrestled at Lehigh University
where he received his B.S. in Marketing and was an Assistant Wrestling
Coach at Columbia University where he received his Master’s degree in Communication and Education. Among his accomplishments as a college and high school wrestler and coach include: |
Brandon is the Head Coach at the Edge School of Wrestling in Hoboken and the Hoboken PAL Youth Wrestling Team. He has been involved in wrestling for nearly 20 years. Brandon wrestled at Columbia University where he received his B.S. in Political Science and is a native of Michigan. His accomplishments include: • 2 time NCAA Division 1 Qualifier • 2 EIWA Placer • Junior Freestyle All-American • Junior Greco Roman All-American • Cadet Greco Roman All-American • University Nationals All-American • High School Senior National All-American • Two Time Michigan State Champion • Michigan State Win Record holder with 217 Brandon has made the transition training MMA fighters in wrestling. He attained his Blue Belt from Dave Branch. He has trained UFC fighters such as Edge Hoboken Jiu Jitsu instructor Dave Branch, and Phillipe Nover, finalist UFC Ultimate Fighter show season 8 as their wrestling coach. |
Jeff Marsh is the facility manager as well as a coach at the Edge Hoboken School of Wrestling and MMA. He has competed in wrestling for over 20 years. Jeff was a four-time letter winner at the University of Michigan where he received his BA through the Program in the Environments' Sustainable Urban Design program. His accomplishments include: • NCAA Division 1 Qualifier Jeff spent 3 years seeing varsity action while filling in for multiple NCAA National Champions in the Michigan wrestling roster until earning an opportunity to have a breakout senior season of his own. Jeff garnered 16 career wins over Division One All Americans, and currently trains fighters competing in Bellator And UFC Championships. Jeff learned the mental advantages and life lessons that wrestling provides, and continues to instill these values in his wrestling and MMA students. He brings an enthusiasm for the sport of wrestling and an excellent technical knowledge that is clear through his easy to understand coaching philosophies. |

Phillipe Nover trains and coaches regularly at Edge MMA in Hoboken, NJ and is a member of the Edge MMA Combat Team. He is widely known for his Nursing career and ever friendly attitude. Nover holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Alexander "Soca" Freitas. He has been fighting in Professional Mixed Martial Arts since 2003. Nover was a finalist in the Season 8: TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) tournament, as well as a UFC vetern. • UFC Veteran

Zachary Lamano has been involved in wrestling for over 20 years. He has trained Court McGee (TUF season 11 winner), and UFC's Yves Edwards. Wrestled at the United States Olympic Education Center (USOEC) at Northern Michigan University for 2 years, graduated from Weber State University in Utah with a B.S. in Business Finance. His Wrestling Accomplishments include: • Training for the 2012 US Olympic Team Zach is currently training with for the 2012 US Olympic wrestling team and working closely with the Edge MMA Combat Team athletes in preparation for their upcoming fights. He has recently been traveling and holding Edge MMA Wrestling seminars in Costa Rica, New York, and California.

Kevin has over 25 years of Martial Arts Training. His primary expertise is in Muay Thai instruction, but he is also well versed in karate, Japanese Ju-Jitsu, and shoot fighting. He has also been a personal trainer for over 15 years. He is the owner and operator of Jersey Fight Club, located in Cranford , NJ where he teaches Muay Thai and conditioning classes to regular students and top amateur and professional MMA and Muay Thai Fighters. His skill and competitive accolades include:
Kevin is also a well-respected referee with extensive experience; over 500 mixed martial art bouts, and a true understanding of the sport of MMA. He is licensed in New Jersey , Pennsylvania , Connecticut , Ohio , Ireland , England , Mexico , and Costa Rica . He has refereed in such events as The UFC, WEC, IFL, Elite XC, Bodog, and many other top MMA organizations. |
Gerald Javier (GJ) Gee is the head intro Muay Thai coach at Edge Hoboken MMA, and currently training to make his Pro MMA and has the talent to be a prominent figure in the Flyweight division in the UFC and other well renowned MMA promotions. From Bergenfield New Jersey, attended Holy Name Hospital where he graduated with a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing in 2006. Martial Arts History: Has Trained in Muay Thai and BJJ for over ten years. Holding both NJ Golden Gloves titles, as well as multiple Grapplers Quest Championships in NoGi and Gi competition. Captain of Edge Mauy Thai competition team.

Viktor Sveda was a two-time All-America wrestler at Indiana
University. He was a volunteer assistant coach at Columbia University
2006 to 2009. He is a native of Peninsula, Ohio. Sveda was a
four-time NCAA qualifier for the Hoosiers and finished sixth in the
nation as a redshirt freshman in 1999 at 184 pounds and third as a
junior in 2001 to earn All-America honors. |
Michael Hurley has been a certified personal trainer since 1989. While playing football and wrestling throughout high school and
college He became interested in learning more about how the body works
and how to develop it to work at its optimum level. His father who
first taught him about program design and power lifting at the age of
14 always focused on core exercises and Michael still believes in that
philosophy through including Olympic style lifts and multifunctional
movements help increase flexibility, strength, and endurance. |
